Dear Adobe Flash
On behalf of the worldwide community, I would like to thank you for your participation in “The internet”, it has been a long journey, and there are some of us who have found your services to be valuable, however I regret to inform you that your services will no longer be required in future renditions of the world wide web.
Your days are numbered
A long time ago you were interesting, and unique, nobody could do what you could do. Now we have HTML 5, we’ve found someone better, someone open to a fair relationship, they might not be as mature as you -yet, but, we can go everywhere together.
It’s not me, its you
Two words: Standards, and ownership - they don’t go together, you tried, you failed. Sure, sure, you are an authoring tool, and quite awesome at that, but you own too much of the processes.
Step Aside, don’t make this hard for all of us
Please, just let go for all of our sakes – don’t be like internet explorer 6 and try to hold on, it would only cause pain and heartache to all involved, developers, users, and content owners.
Yours Sincerely,
